Elayne began her writing journey long ago. What started as a creative escape slowly became a dream, then a passion, and now a full time career path over a decade later.

Throughout the journey, she has done freelance writing, won a few writing awards, wrote a script for the exercise app Zombies Run, questioned her life choices every other Tuesday, and stared into the void while sipping tea on Sundays. But, despite all hiccups and doubts, she kept working towards the dream.

After spending seven years on a sci-fi passion-project (Azimuth - currently being rebranded under new pen name), she read Legends & Lattes and found her genre "home." Cozy fantasy was her butter and jam! Whiskers and Wishes is her debut in a stand-alone series set in the world of Larune. Her cozy fantasies are like being wrapped up in a warm blanket with friendships, found family, animal companions, quests of the heart, and a splash of sentimentality. She often describes her books as "Middle Grade for adults."

While writing and void-staring, she travels the US with her husband in their cozy, nerdy van the Millennial Falcon.
