I am a literary author who flutters across genres as he pleases. Tis most fun.
I have written a well received set of Fairytales, a slo-burn literary romance and a whole batch of crazy-deranged semi-autobiographical fiction.
My Horror output receives the most reads. The most frequent comment in a review appears to be 'unique' and this makes me proud. Doesn't even mean they enjoyed the story but, unique, or at the very least, different, is something I strive to do with every moment of my life.
It's the style I crave...
My themes are often intricate and concerned with the individual at multiple levels of existential crisis. Not always, but often...I do not always write in the same genre because this does not appeal to where the ideas reside. I follow the idea and fly with the joy of that idea until its completion annoys the heck out of me. Leave it six months... then with a little perspective it usually gets finished.
That's me, D.David Croot. I upload frequently.
Look forward to being read.
The reader’s opinion is exciting every time.
