Nico, Brant, and Gustopher must all face the global community about the fate of dragonkind, and follow the best path for themselves, even if that means leaving the comfort of family. The whole gang from book 1 is reunited and many, many realizations come to light as everyone realizes what Gustopher — and the rest of dragonkind — needed all along.
