If you are a cozy fantasy author, you are in the right place. This is the form to fill out if you would like your book/series to be enrolled in the Cozy the Day Away Sales in 2025. You can always re-submit this form if you make a mistake.

BOOK PROCESS OVERVIEW

After you are done filling out this form, we will review if you are a real author and not a spambot or someone who writes outside of cozy fantasy.

Once we have done the screening process and you are approved, we will create your author profile. Once your profile has been created, you will be emailed with a link to create a unique password to manage your profile.

Being able to manage and access your profile allows you to fill out the form to submit a book/series, add keywords and tags, and fill out your book/series description field.

A video tutorial is available to help guide you through some of the back end of WordPress. This can be found on the site’s FAQ section. You are encouraged to spend some time exploring your new author profile. This will be the home of all future sale dates!

There is a two-step process to submitting books/series: Applying for an Author Account and Submitting your Book/Series.

Note: You’ll only need to do this part once. Once you have completed Step 1 and been approved to have an account, you can log in with your unique password and continue with Step 2, submitting and/or editing your book/series.

Your Author Name(Required)
Please use your author name (aka pen name) for this form. Your name will be displayed the way you provide it to us.
Authors are required to create a user name and password. What email address should we send the account creation to?
We will use this to create your author account. Note: This will appear in the public listings on sale days (as the “author” of the listings for your books). User names are case sensitive and you’ll need to type it *exactly* as you’ve typed it here to be able to log in, so we suggest you make a note of it for your records.

Consent

There are many layers of consent to this sale, so this section will address each aspect that you need to express your consent to.
Participation(Required)
Please confirm you consent to participating in the CDAS Sale(s) on the dates you’ve selected.
Will you test your links before the sale?(Required)
You are responsible for ensuring the links on your book listings are correct before the sale starts. We suggest copy/pasting your links into an incognito/private window and clicking all the way through to make sure that each step of the purchase process works correctly. If you realize the link on your listing is wrong during a sale, you will be able to edit it yourself.
Website / Newsletter / Social Media promotion(Required)
The best way for the word to get out about the sale is by sharing it with your audience. Do you consent to sharing about the sale in one or multiple ways before the sale occurs?
Email reminders(Required)
We will email you reminders about the sale at two points: 6 weeks before a sale and 1 week before. Please confirm that you consent to being emailed these reminders.

Discord. It’s not a requirement for authors to join the Discord channel, but it’s where readers and authors can interact about the sale.

There are many benefits to having one hub:

  • Readers can post if there are technical issues about the sale
  • Authors can talk amongst each other about the industry
  • Authors can give consent to other authors for cross-promotion without having to go through me
  • Readers can post their post-sale excitement about what they purchased
  • There are not many spaces where authors and readers are encouraged to interact, and that’s what I hope this space will grow into.

Our moderators will now review your application to confirm your book/series fits the theme of the sale. We’ll then create an account for you so you can list the book/series you want included in each sale.

You’ll receive an email when your account has been set up which will ask you to set a new password for your account. You’ll then be able to log in. If you don’t receive an email within seven days, please reach out to the moderators at info@promisepress.org. (Before you reach out to us, please check your spam folder!)

After you have logged in to your author account, you’ll be able to see the book submission form on the Authors: Submit a Book page.
